Digital Domain files for $100 mln IPO

WASHINGTON, Dec 11 (Reuters) - Digital Domain DTWO.O, which provides digital imagery to the film entertainment, advertising and video game industries, said it is planning an initial public offering.

The company may sell as much as $100 million in common stock in an IPO to be underwritten by Thomas Weisel Partners LLC, CIBC World Markets, William Blair & Co, Merriman Curhan Ford & Co and GunnAllen Financial Inc.

According to a preliminary offering document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Venice, California,-based company will seek a Nasdaq listing under the symbol "DTWO."
